Opinion Continuum and Survey

This week I have been doing a slide about deer. It shows groups of people that Strongly agree and Strongly Disagree about deer.  I have also made a Google form so you can fill out whether you think deer are a pest or resource.

This is my slide about what groups of people think deer are good and people that think deer are bad.

Jake Bailey - An inspirational speaker

Today all senior and some junior classes went to see Jake Bailey in our school library. He taught me a lot because he had had cancer in 2015  and had a very inspirational and emotional story to tell us. It was amazing that he survived the fastest growing cancer on the planet!

One point that stood out was when  he was told he had 2 weeks to live that got me by surprise to think it could happen so quickly. It was very sad what he had gone through. One of the most gross parts was when he told us about a big metal spike going in his back to get bone marrow.

He told us that it was the best thing that had ever happened to him getting cancer!  This is because he learnt so much from it. I learnt so much from him and his story as well. He said that happiness and resilience are important skills that we should always practice.  He also said to get out there and make the most of every opportunity in life.

Here is a photo of him on the front cover of his book which tells about his story. Maybe you should read it. I hope you learnt something from my blog today. Bye.

Speech T3 W2

Hi there today i will be showing you my speech it was kinda fun but also really nerv racking because i had to stand up in front of the whole class and do it my speech is about gardening i chose gardening because it is one of my hobby's and i just like it.

This is my speech i like this speech because it took me 1 week to complete and it is one of my hobby's and i think that growing vegetables is really fun because you grow your own food and you get to see seeds grow into seedlings. I hope i taught you something about gardening today Bye. 

The Spanish Speaking World W2 T3

Hi there today i have done a google my map about Spanish speaking country's This was a really fun task because you have to lock up and see facts about Spanish speaking country's. 

This is my Map ad all the points on it there are many Spanish speaking country's Infact Spanish is a more spoken language than English i think that it would be cool to speak Spanish because then i would be able to go to Spain or somewhere and talk the language.
